Allowing an IP to float between virtual machines for high availability
To allow an IP address to be used on multiple virtual machines go to Network -> Network Interfaces -> Add IP Address and select the check box to show used IP addresses.
Note: An IP can only be used on 1 virtual machine at a time. This option allows for multiple machines the ability to use a single IP, ie. for failover scenarios.
