Export the data you need before canceling. You can lose access and data when the service ends; do not rely on later recovery.
- Check the service you want to cancel and its billing period. Review VMs, storage, licenses, and other separately billed services before proceeding.
- Use the self-service cancellation option in the client area where available. Review the timing and confirmation before submitting.
- If the option or timing you need is unavailable, submit an authenticated billing ticket or use the authorized email cancellation route described in the Terms of Service. Live chat and phone do not process cancellations.
- Keep the cancellation confirmation and check any final invoice. You still owe charges for usage before cancellation.
- If you set up an independent PayPal payment subscription, review and cancel it in PayPal as well.
Deleting VMs does not itself cancel a recurring cloud allowance or separate licenses. For metered resources, see Cancel an hourly cloud.
