Cancel an hourly cloud

Deletion is permanent. Export the data you need and check your recovery copies before removing resources.

Hourly cloud usage is billed after it is used. Removing resources stops their future use, but it does not erase charges already incurred.

  1. Open the hourly cloud and list its VMs, Volumes, backups, and reserved public IP resources. Include resources that are not attached to a VM.
  2. Delete the VMs and other resources you no longer need. Review the deletion confirmation, especially any option to keep persistent Volumes. Wait for each deletion to finish.
  3. Check Volumes and other resource lists again for retained resources. Resources outside the VM list can still incur charges.
  4. Review Billing overview and outstanding invoices. Ask billing about the final usage amount if it has not yet been invoiced.
  5. Complete the service cancellation process in Cancel a service. Keep the confirmation and review the final invoice period.

Cancel separately billed licenses and independent payment subscriptions when they are no longer needed. Contact billing with the resource ID and invoice number if a remaining charge is unclear.
